The room was clean and tidy it had a lovely wet room, and there was enough room for my wheelchair

Just a basic sleep and go, was clean and staff were helpful

I have never given a one star before and always look for a redeeming feature in order to praise the staff. My wife and I have been travelling the country over the past four weeks and this is the worst hotel we have stayed in. I even gave 4 stars to a hotel where others had given a single star because were keen to help in any way they could. The young receptionist at this hotel was friendly but the general demeanour of the staff suggested that they couldn't be bothered. This suggested very poor management. My wife has been a Holiday Inn member for many years even reaching elite status. We didn't realise that their policy had changed in that you had to go to the bar to order your dinner. We sat in the restaurant for a while without being served but no one bothered to tell us about the change in policy. It was only when I went up to the bar to ask to be served that I was told to come to the bar by a chap who had watched us sitting there for about half an hour. My wife and I came down for breakfast at 9am. I had cereal but when I went for the cooked breakfast, there were no eggs. I waited till the eggs arrived so that everything on my plate would be warm, but then there were no sausages. I asked for sausages but was told the kitchen was now closed. I ended up with nothing. We will never be back.

It was clean, convenient, quiet & reasonably priced - I would definiitely stay there again if I was in the area - thank you every one

Food went down through the stay, orange juice more like a children’s weak squash, only chocolate muffins lasted days no choice cold food every day

Lovely quiet hotel comfortable room with a good shower! Breakfast was also lovely

A nice hotel, needed a hotel close to Peterborough as visiting family - HI fitted bill. Good breakfast and very pleasant staff.

Excellent value stay. Clean room and bathroom. We were four (two kids, two adults) so quite tight with the sofa bed out but satisfactory for the price. Friendly staff that were always on hand. Quality breakfast with a good range of options (including veggie sausages on request) in a relaxed atmosphere with attentive staff regularly checking on the food, crockery and cutlery availability and presentation.
