"Hotel stay from Hell. Manager from Hell."

My cousin and I were getting ready for bed, and when we pulled the covers back, stains and hair all in the bed. The desk clerk came down to change the bedding and take pictures but decided to change our room. That room was just as bad with huge yellow stains on the comforter and with stains on the sheets. He took more pictures; changed the bedding. I told him wanted a refund and to check out but was told the manager could only do that, but he was sleep. So the next day we wait for the manager who the clerk said wasn’t there and then when he started getting phone calls asking for the manager, he called the manager. The manager said he wouldn’t be in until Monday. The clerk then told us that the manager was actually in the room by the elevator and we could wait until he came out. So we did. When he came out, my cousin tried to stop him to discuss the prior night out and get a refund, but he yelled at her saying he was busy and tried to shut the door on her. She caught the door and told him that we wanted to check out but he ignored her. I pulled out my phone and began to record. He ignored us and then I went back to the counter and asked how do we check out. He said only the manager could check us out early because he has no authorization. After other customers were coming down to checkout and complain, the manager came out. He told my cousin either calm down or he wouldn’t talk to us. This is after he caused her reaction. He didn’t check us out, nor refund me.

"Dissatisfied "

Check in clerk was rude. Elevator was broken and room was on 3rd floor. My mother recently had a stroke so going up and down the stairs was a nightmare. Bed had a piece of metal hanging out that was covered by bed sham and cut my leg 3 different times. $50 deposit was said to be returned on checkout but that didn't happen then was charged another $50 3days after my stay. Called and was told the funds would be returned and I still haven't received my money back.

"I’d stay again"

It was quiet and the beds were really comfortable. The pool was dirty and the door going out to the pool is broken so you have to walk back around to get back in. There were guys standing out there smoking weed, which I had my daughter and she didn’t need to see that. The toilet was stained black and it rocks back and forth. Overall I’d stay again, they just need to do some maintenance and clean better. There was old food under the corners of bed

I didn’t expect this level of unkept/unsafe property at a Holiday Inn. I’ve stayed at their hotels all my life and never seen this. Unmowed grass. Homeless people with their 20 shopping carts and roadside collections just feet away.Police stopping to investigate other homeless people. When I talked to the manager to let him know how I felt as an older woman traveling alone, his initial comment about the unmoved grass (2-3’ high) was “Oh. Are you planning on sleeping in the grass?” I knew then I would have to rely on Expedia to make things right.

"Avoid at all cost - Sam Malik is horrendous"

I created this account solely to write this review. The management team and Sam Malik cannot be trusted and is doing IHG a disservice for having this hotel in their network of hotels. There's shouting and doors slamming at night, sloppy breakfasts (if you can even get breakfast with residents stuffing their pockets with food), and servers eating their own breakfast. After complaining about the terrible service of my stay to IHG corporate, the owner, Sam Malik, maliciously charged me $300 1 month later to my credit card claiming that there was "smoking and drugs" in the room. The owner also claimed that we covered up the smoke detector. I have never smoked once in my life and do not plan to ever do so. I cannot believe IHG allows this place to run on their behalf. INCOMPETENT MANAGEMENT AND STAFF. AVOID AT ALL COST.

"Exceptional"

The property was excellent and nearby the area of business. Of course, the rooms may need to repair their treadmills and refrigerators. Otherwise, the experience was awesome overall. Thank you, and be safe out there.

"If the room was free I’d still pick another hotel"

Not the best-unprofessional staff and dirty bathroom. Even after I'd brought a matter to their attention it was not resolved. Not to mention, It took me 5 phone calls after checking out to receive an emailed receipt. The manager at the time was no help either. Place is just gross!
