This is the second time I've had the pleasure of staying at the Thorverton Arms. It's such a welcoming place. The food is lovely and very good value. The staff are amazing, especially Rob and his team behind the bar, and the locals are also extremely friendly too. I can't fault it and will definitely return again next time I visit Devon.

"Lovely old historic hotel."

This place is a lovely old historic hotel. Our room was enormous and the beds comfortable.

The breakfast was fine but the arrangements were a bit odd. You had to choose your menu the previous night. Orange juice, toast, etc didnt appear on the menu but were in fact available if you asked for them.
