Thorverton Arms

This hotel was phenomenal.The check in person so was good.Gave lots of advice.Breakfast and dinner are available.The room was so cozy and gave amenties like water,sweets and biscuit.The room was very clean.The room had laminated pamphlets sheets of information about breakfast,bus times,Thoverton and Exeter town information etc.There is a pub below the rooms which is quite busy in the evenings to nights.This place is well taken care of and they take care of their guests.It is an exceptional place to stay.I stayed 1 night.Imagine if I had stayed longer.I would return.

Un excellent hôtel à la fois simple et chaleureux, avec un accueil très agréable et un très bon rapport qualité prix. Les chambres sont confortables, et la cuisine britannique est bonne avec des portions généreuses.

Lovely location in quaint village, very peaceful Very good food & pleasant bar/dining areas, very friendly customers & woman owner; special call-out for George who seemed to be running the place during the evening Bonus was Millennium Green nearby, great open space that allowed dog to walk off-lead in the meadow

Room overpriced for what it provided; very dated bathroom, decor could do with upgrade; need easily accessible power either side of double bed for phones charging/etc (just need to provide extension leads by bedsides) Very poor service for all customers during evening as owners were away & staff off due to illness. Just needed people to be kept informed about short-staffing, meals taking extra time, requesting people to go to the bar themselves, etc Wasn't asked about breakfast, we asked when we saw mention in the room that it should have been dealt with on arrival No provision for dog in bedroom (e.g. water bowl)

The property is quirky, wonderfully decorated. It’s in idilic, picturesque area with wonderful thatched roofs. Everyone in the area were really friendly

Fabulous dinner and breakfast as well as lovely staff :)

Staff excellent. Clean and well equipped room.

No way of accessing fresh air/ventilation into room which was cramped and stuffy as a twin room. Internet access 90% of time inaccessible.

Lovely little inn with decent facilities good food and decent wine staff very helpful

Lovely garden but could do with a good clean lots of cigarette butts and could do with a sweep. Bed not very comfortable could do with a memory foam topper if they do not wish to invest in new mattress

Amazing breakfast - we had the unique English breakfast in a batter wrap - very unique. It kept us going for a 25km walk over Dartmoor!! The staff were so helpful, bringing their own brand of sunshine to the inn!
