Great place and great hosts. Had a good laugh at the bar and the room and facilities were lovely.

Food was masterfully cooked. The garden looked and smelled really nice. Prices were stable, and reasonable. Bar staff were very polite and professional. T V worked fine. Ample parking. House dog not too noisy. Room was fresh and airy. I could see myself happily spending a week or more here, being welcomed by most patrons, ( apart from a few foul-mouthed locals ), and enjoying the food.

Flies; everywhere. Difficult to see menus. Online images vague and uninformative. Hall/stair/landing light broken/non-functional. Requests for even slight menu changes, for example, no peas please, resulted in major rebellion from the kitchen, or the order staff. I imagined Basil Fawlty waving a cleaver turning up threateningly at my table. My room was at the front of the premises, and the outside-front of the premises was noisy and busy all day. Offered internet didn't work, although I must say my equipment is only cheap. Various little trips and steps throughout the property.

What a wonderfully friendly vibe , a real home from home . Kind , friendly and helpful staff happy you welcome you in many’s ways .. nothing is too much . Laughter and banter also offered daily . Meals amazing very happy with cleanliness, homely .

Very friendly staff. Breakfast was of a very high quality and best of all served up hot. Will definitely stay again when down in that part of the country.

Great for an overnight stay for our holiday to Cornwall. Staff very welcoming and fantastic breakfast. Location good for us visiting Killerton NT although sat nav took us via the scenic route!

The young lady and young man working behind the bar on Tuesday evening. Customer Service from these two was excellent.

8 hour drive from the northeast and to be told the kitchen doesn't open on a Monday evening yet the website says it does. The manager made chips and sausages for the darts team later that evening and walked past us numerous times and never spoke or asked if we had got anything sorted. In fact, he never spoke ageing after giving us our room key. The bed looked like it either hadn't been changed or the bedding hadn't been ironed. The bedding had stains on it. The next day, no one had been in the room to make the bed or change the cups etc, it was just as we had left it, yet it says on the website full housekeeping services. My wife is writing to the company who owns these pubs to complain about the service
