GBIt was a wonderful iconic building that had been lovingly restored by the owners. The experience countries from there with exceptional friendly service. Lovely breakfast with locally sourced produce.

GBThe Shirley is an absolutely fabulous building and the hosts Sophie and Alec were brilliant, nothing to much trouble, even put birthday banners up for me. Breakfasts were first class, a very spacious and comfortable room, we had a lovely 5 day break and would love to return. Thank you Sophie and Alec... first class.

GBSophie and Alec were super hosts. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Fridge in room was very useful as was socket by bed. Lovely Breakfast. Great value for money.
Very steep incline to car Park and tight to manauvere when full.

fridge was not topped up daily with complimentary tea, coffee and milk 2 days we were left to fend for ourselves with continental breakfast but felt strange as we were the only 2 people in the hotel
GBThe room itself: Great. Spacious room, plenty of light from the window, space for luggage. Bed: Comfortable. No complaints there. Bathroom: Good. Breakfast: Great.
Shower pressure was very low. This made washing my hair difficult. The car park is on a slope, so motorcycle parking was awkward. Bed a little too low for my taste, but that was a minor issue.
GBLovely 4 night stay, breakfast was plenty, Sophie & Alex was friendly & helpful. Bus stop across the road. Room suitable for us, lovely bathroom. Would recommend staying at the Shirley.
DESuper Lage, nah am Hafen. Sehr nette Gastgeber und leckeres Frühstück. Man konnte zwischen verschiedenen warmen Speisen (Full English, Avocadobrot mit Poached Eggs, Spiegelei, Pfannkuchen, etc. auswählen). Zusätzlich gab es noch Cerials, Jogurt, Obst, Saft, Tee, Kaffee. Tip top. Wir würden jederzeit nochmals hier schlafen.
