Excellent breakfast, good location, bed too soft for me and shower a little tired

Nice and peaceful despite a central location. Wonderful choices for breakfast and a wealth of fresh fruits. But a bit overpriced for a b&b

Had a great stay . Only had one problem , downstairs room - the tv and sky access menus -needed to be a rocket scientist to understand them:-).

The room was comfortable and clea, the hospitality was exceptional and the Old Manse was within a few minutes walk of the steam railway station.

We had a welcome cup of tea upon arrival. Rooms was lovely and comfortable. We were allowed to leave our car there after we checked out and went into Whitby on the steam train. Also a fab breakfast. A perfect stay.

Speedy, friendly check in with a choice of rooms given! Lovely clean room at the perfect temperature with good facilities. Very pleasant library and dining area, beautiful surroundings. Very good value for money indeed, would certainly stay again.
