Very handy for centre of town. Friendly staff. Breakfast all combinations of tastes catered for.I would go again.

Great location room with a view all you could eat breakfast would stay again if ever visiting Pickering or the north Yorkshire moors again.

We stayed for 4 nights and slept like a log every night.Room was cleaned daily to a high standard. Good variety of choices for breakfast and good quality food was served. Staff were friendly and helpful. Evening meal was available but we just had B&B. Decor was a little old fashioned but that's what we expected based on the hotel name.

We were in Pickering for the 60s fest and the weather didn’t let us down. We had a wonderful stay, the room and food, we booked for an evening meal as well as breakfast, were tip top compliments to the chef. Everything was cooked to order so as long as you don’t mind a chance to reconnect and have a chat you won’t be disappointed, everything was still red hot when it arrived at the table and there was no skimping on portion sizes!! The room was comfortable, clean tidy and well stocked with the necessities coffee tea shampoo etc We had a first floor room with a 4 poster and beautiful views as far as the eye could see Hope to be back next year with more friends in tow

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff and close to Pickering town centre. Ideal for all the locations in the Yorkshire Moors.

My third stay at The old Manse, and as always it was welcoming, cheery, and made the holiday really great. At another restaurant in Pickering, when I said I was staying at The Old Manse, the restaurant owner said 'yes the best Breakfasts in Pickering'. And he is right.

Very welcoming and friendly, we had a very enjoyable trip.We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
