Lovely hotel right in the centre of the town. Handy for everything. Rooms myself and colleague stayed in were really smart. Only small issue was that the TV was a little small. Staff were great and food excellent. You will meed to park in council car parks which are close by. They are pay and display but free overnight. Recommended.

Room adequate, breakfast poor, Saturday night so very noisy outside, very little sleep, best bit was the check in done by a very polite young man.

This is an excellent hotel well situated for easy access to everything Kirkwall and the Island have to offer. The room (208) is beautifully presented. There is minimal noise from outside. I was unaware of any noise from other rooms. The fresh décor and generous room size were a welcome surprise. Breakfast was good with a decent selection on offer. I ate in The Neuk which can be accessed from within the hotel and has an extensive menu offering a wide range of local produce at reasonable prices.
