Fabulous location for nipping in and out of the city centre, 1km walk from York Minster! Parking too, fab! Full English breakfast included, perfect!

You can find fault anywhere if you look hard enough but this was a really pleasant stay and I’d 10/10 stay here again.

I like how clean it was. It has every thing that we need.

A very good choice for breakfast, a comfortable bed en suite and a good position to walk 15 minutes into the city centre, a coop and a pub 2 mins away

steep, narrow stairs, the shower had mould in the corners

The location is good, being close to town so it was easy to get places. It also was close to amenities like small grocery shops. Comfort was good because I had to book a double room and Wifi was okay as well. I was actually at the place next door, which is under the same ownership (Burton Villa), but the two are structurally connected.

Traffic noise was difficult at times because the property is located on the main north-south road through York. The breakfast wasn't worth 10 quid.

Walking distance from city centre, and a lovely park opposite.

Staff not always available, but that's a rarity during my stay

Good location, only 10 minute walk from York Minster Comfy beds and good value for money Room was clean with fridge and tea/coffee supplies
