O staff eram muito simpáticos e a localização

O quarto era extremamente quente … a janela não abria o suficiente para arejar o quarto… com este é importante tentar resolver estes problemas

Where do I begin... Firstly the room was ridiculously small and the decor was very dated. But that wasn't the main issue. The room was at a temperature that literally meant it was difficult to breathe. Being caught in a heatwave with no air conditioning meant it was so uncomfortable. There were 2 fans in the room, but they just wafted the hot air around, it was unbearable so my friend and I had to keep going outside to be able to cool down. But the worst thing of all was not being able to jump in the shower to cool off. The shower needed repairing, the temperature of the water was extreme and no flow of cold water was coming through, my friend spent around 20 minutes trying to get the temperature down. So on top of not being able to breathe and scalding our bodies trying to get a shower I wasn't offered a refund of any kind. The guy running the venue was very kind but I wasn't happy when he only suggested I can have a discount if I booked there again. He explained he wasn't the owner and it would be difficult to contact him re a refund. He actually looked scared to contact the owner! I asked why would a room be offered with a faulty shower? He then tried to explain to me that I possibly didn't know how to use the shower. Honestly shocking,. And very patronizing. . I had a career being a professional performer and over the 15 years of performing in numerous cities and staying in many many diverse accommodations I'd like to believe I have the knowledge of how to use showers! We couldn't stay, we wouldn't have been able to sleep with the uncomfortable conditions, we left the venue around 11:30pm. I would obviously not recommend staying at this venue.

Park View is somewhat dated however if your looking for a location close to York Minster then you couldn’t do better for value for money.

Excellent value for money. The close proximity to the city. Parking included. Very clean room. We enjoyed the park opposite. We didn't see the staff a lot but they were always there when we asked for help. Fried bread for breakfast. Yummy

The shower was adequate but would have been nice if it was a little bigger

Fantastic service. Very helpful and welcoming Cooked breakfast was amazing. Will be back again for definite. And nice walk into york as well. Not to far
