Great little hotel right in the city centre. Comfortable clean room. Breakfast was lovely, lots to choose from. Great nightlife in Leicester with people partying into the early hours. I know this because I heard them outside my window until around 5am. Take ear plugs if you want an undisturbed sleep.

"Shoddy at best"

2.0

Third floor was boiling and stank of wee as did the inside of our room, upon opening the window it blew with the wind making large banging noise along with the alley behind being used as a play area for children. We opened our door only for it to slam into the bed which gave us pins and needles just from taking a nap it was so hard. There suite was right next to the bed the otherside, not exactly private. Only one towel was laid on our double bed although the receptionist did give me another after I trecked back down only to get back to my room and find it was stained ( I say the term towel losely, they were about the size of a hand towel.... Not much modesty). The other guests on our floor seemed to be in and out all night slamming the doors which hadno soft close and literally shook the walls.

"City centre"

8.0

The hotel is situated petfectly. Everything is within walking distance. The bed was not very comfortable, and the room was a bit small, but I was rarely in the room so that didn't bother me much. Be aware, there is no lift or A/C, so if that's a problem, look elsewhere. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic and I enjoyed my stay.

"Good price and value"

Very clean well kept hotel with friendly staff. Only a few minutes walk from main shopping area. Breakfast provided was well presented and adequate, rooms were of good standard with all the basics including free WiFi. Would definitely stay there again if visiting Leicester.

"Ideal location for city centre, no car park onsite"

8.0

Hotel was ok for the money paid of £50 per night including breakfast. Stayed on business, bed was two single beds pushed together, room 103 was huge, plenty of space, bathroom was small though. Continental breakfast was ok, funny smell in the dining area. Ideal location for city centre, only down side was there is no car park at the hotel so I had at to park at an NCP car park that was a 10 minute walk away, £16.00 for 24 hours parking. Would stay again.

"Non stop beeping"

8.0

The rooms are really nice for the price and the staff were friendly. The Hotel is directly in the centre of the city. However the taxi rank is right outside, so on a Saturday night- as well as noise from students the taxis were non stop beeping for hours after midnight and it was impossible to sleep. I'd advise to visit on a night other than a Fri,Sat, or student night.

"Excellent"

Great hospitality from staff, but Leicester on a Friday night (or even Thursday) is not quiet, and the hotel is opposite a nightclub and bar. Very convenient situation, though, if you have cloth ears.
