Castle Park Hotel

Beautifully clean and clearly nicely refurbished hotel. Smart, quality and great location. Would definitely stay again.

The room i had was nice and it was clean was able to check in early as well with made me more happy

The hotel room was nice and cosy, with great heating and a homely feel. The bathroom was basic but had trouble keeping the shower head facing towards me as it kept falling. I also had trouble sleeping because there was a busy street right next to the hotel. However, the location was within walking distance from universities and the city centre, the staff were lovely and very helpful and there were restaurants surrounding the hotel which was good during the evening as we didn’t have to walk far in the snow. The only thing that you should prepare for is that the hotel doesn’t have parking so you will have to use a nearby multi-storey car park.

Needed a hotel for a stay after a night with friends. Was 10 seconds away from our final destination on the night, so convenient is a understatement. Simple, no frills, and reasonable price for one night given location.

the heating got turned off at 21:00 which in January was rather uncomfortable. I was on a business trip and was still working from my room and the cold made it very uncomfortable. Not a hotel i will recommend.

Central clean and tidy

I had stayed at the Travelodge the previous night which was very noisy and thin walls. This hotel was done up nicely, a lot more homely. The staff were lovely and the Continental Breakfast was much nicer than the full English I had had from the day before. Will definitely be staying again, close to the Uni and to local amenities.

We had a great stay. Lovely room and we were on a stag party so it was a short walk to the centre of town. We have no complaints attall and would definitely recommend to anyone and will stay again.

Very good location and facilities but best of all was the attentive staff. Very helpful and we had to leave early the next morning, so would miss out on breakfast, but to our surprise and delight a breakfast pack to go was supplied.

Do not stay here, biggest mistake I’ve ever remade staying here
