Large spacious room,, friendly and helpful staff Stayed overnight after a gig at the Uni, far exceeded expectations

The rooms were very small but we'll located. The major problem was that my room amd bathroom smelled strongly of cigarette smoke - someone had clearly been smoking in the bathroom in the hours before I arrived. The hotel is supposedly non smoking. There was no one to deal with my concerns over the weekend and even though I left my contact details asking a manager to call me, no-one bothered.

Cold September day no heating. 7.00pm had to ask for heating to be put on in my room. In morning shower water colder than tepid; same in room for other guest. Breakfast: sent bread through toaster twice and still had warm bread with no colour. It was a disgrace.

Good location. Small and cozy place. Budget hotel so not much expectation. There is free breakfast and the service of the staff is good and friendly.

Good value for the money. Convenient location to the city center.

Staff friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. I arrived late (after reception was closed) and they were helpful and quick to check me in. The room was tiny, but really well equipped. There was everything I wanted and more! Breakfast was varied and extremely generous. Hotel was ideally centrally placed . My only comment would be that the duvet was great for just me but would have caused a bit of a power struggle if there'd been two of us.

Brilliant value for the price. We couldn't believe we found a room so cheap with breakfast for 2 people right in the city centre.

Good hotel for money, spacious room, tasty breakfast included in the price. Friendly staff. Only downside it was a little noisy until about 2.30 am with street sounds. Very close to city shopping & cathedral.

I visited De Montfort University and stayed at this hotel for one night. The service was great. The location is perfect less than 10 min walk to DMU. The only problem with my room was sound isolation. The noise from other rooms and the hallway was obviously noticeable. The street beside the hotel can be also noisy. I am not sensitive to noise, but you may look for other options if you are.

Didn't have a problem with the room or facilities clean nice comfortable bed shower and toilet were fine. I was very disappointed with the breakfast okay it's continental but just wasn't nice it was laid out on the little table in the corner only one juice option, The tea and coffee and tasted water down. I didn't eat nothing as nothing really took my fancy
