Tangalooma Island Resort

There were a couple of staff who were amazing, then there were staff that were terrible!

Definitely geared towards practicality. Amenities were the type where it was expected that people would be trailing sand and salt beach water in with them so areas were either clean and plain. Furnishings were basic but did the job. Was told that there would be a microwave which there wasn't. People were friendly.

The resort is in a fantastic spot - beautiful beach and the snorkeling was great but the best thing was the dolphin feeding . Restaurants are a bit limited but all have good quality of good. The beach cafe , bar didn't have much atmosphere but Fire and Stone was quite nice with outside tables and also very good food .

Really liked the option of receiving a bottle of wine in exchange for not having room service.

Great, clean beaches. The property buildings do seem old and run down.

Room was ok nothing special but amazing view from the balcony

Quick break and was delightful , cruise ship was in so they went the extra yard and had a lot more going on

Like the dolphin feeding and Kookaburra and Pelican feeding. Kayaking and snorkeling were great too. Short walk from the ferry.

The properties may just need a slight touch up. The room carpets are slightly old, the paint and elevators, especially for a resort. I still do like the place, it’s very hospitable and pleasant.
