The food was exceptional Breakfast was hot and really well presented - the tea pot was fabulous! The two dinners there were of the highest quality and a real surprise given the venue

The Room 1 was poor. Too hot, the bed very badly made, the toilet too close to the wall, the wardrobe full of other 'stuff' and an electric cable across the doorway at head height!

The building is pretty, nice garden, good parking and nice staff

The shower was awful, no pressure and it was either too hot or too cold. The rooms are a bit dated but the bed was comfortable. It was around 16° on the day and even tho we had the windows open the room was really hot, quite uncomfortable at night, a fan would have been nice.

Room 5 shower barely worked and luke warm water at best Shower door handle broken Complimentary bottle of water showed signs of mould and only noticed just befor i drank some luckily i spotted it.

Stayed here a few times. Interesting old building in a nice village. Spacious room with a big, comfortable bed. Cosy bar with a good choice of drinks. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff.

Room had a few maintenance issues, such as cracked mirror, damaged furniture, non-working reading lamps.

Lovely hotel ideal to park and central to Bridgend, clean bright room, great customer service. I will book again.

The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Very comfortable bed and only a short drive to Bridgend train station for our trip to Cardiff 😊. Plenty of tea, coffee and even hot chocolate in our room.

Stayed in the annex, poor quality bed, uncomfortable nights sleep
