Super 8 by Wyndham Albuquerque Downtown

Great location , top of central in downtown. Super soft comfy beds were the highlight. The motel is looking a bit tired but possibly having some update work. A warm welcome and budget friendly, safe & well located.

The owners are very helpful and will help you find solutions. The room and amenities were as you would expect - super basic - no coffee or shampoo in the rooms and twinkies for breakfast, but the AC worked fine and the sheets and towels were clean. I will advise that carowners secure belongings well because I saw someone walk into the lots from the street late at night and check doors on cars and check for loose change in the dispensing machines, etc. Good coffee a couple blocks towards downtown that opens at 7 am, but no corner stores, gas stations, or deli options close by.

Property seems pretty old and inside rooms. But very easy to get to and comfortable. Tv was really hard to navigate and turn on and off. But I stayed one night so it worked out.

Also Super 8 location is in a great area for breakfast , lunch , dinner , drinks , shopping along with route 66 atmosphere . But most of all Super 8 Motel : Rooms Nice Clean , Availability Spot On , Amenities Great , Great Value Short or Long Term. Staff : Nice , Friendly , Helpful , Courteous , Strong Customer Oriented . Each Super 8 Motel Employee with a Kind Face and a Great Smile along with a Warm Heart . Made our Stay Enjoyable and Comfortable . I did not feel safe here with my children. It was dirty and there were burned holes in the blankets and curtains. There was a gap between the door and the door frame. 0/10 don’t recommend.

No toilet paper in the room, dirty floors, dead pillows, uncomfortable bed, old crappy building, crappy breakfast, parking lot did not feel safe, scary looking non-guest people in the parking lot and noisy area next to the freeway.

My original stay was May 15, 2025, which was really bad, this was my return trip, which I could not cancel per the contract, so I requested a better room in Building #1 and I was told I could only be placed in Building #2, the crappy building that I first stayed in Room # 132, when complained about no toilet paper and dirty floors in my prior stay, the staff said Room #128 was clean. When I inspected the room there was toilet paper, but there was no soap, no shampoo and no conditioner, dirty toilet, dirty bath towels and dirty floors. Also an outrageous broken smoke detector, a broken and dangerous electricial socket behind the bed that could have caused a fire, broken light on the left side of the bed, dead pillows and a lumpy uncomfortable bed, again the breakfast was crappy and the staff was unfriendly and uncaring. Unsafe area and unsafe parking lot and unsafe hotel. This hotel should be demolished and dropped by Booking.com.

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. It was exceptionally quiet, providing a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to assist. Additionally, the rooms were not only comfortable but also nicely decorated, making my stay all the more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a tranquil and pleasant stay.

Older and a bit outdated. Staff was helpful. Bed was comfortable.
