The location was excellent and very convenient for exploring Chester. The room was clean, comfortable and the host had chat with me through email he was helpful .

Excellent location as I was running the Chester 10k , which started on the nearby racecourse. Fantastic, helpful hosts Clean room with en suite shower. Highly recommend

Grosvenor House is arguably the best located Guest house in Chester. It lies within the Walls, and is perfectly situated for Coffee shops, pubs, places to visit in Chester, the Racecourse and lots more. I was a little worried at how close the nearest pub was, especially when I heard the live music, but the windows offered very good soundproofing, and I was not troubled at all. Car parking was about 400 yards away, and posed no problem at all for me. I hope that I will be able to return.

My room was (necessarily) small, being in a period property. There was little room for more than a good double bed, a chair a fridge and an area for preparation of tea and coffee. The en-suite bathroom was also on the cramped side; the handbasin in particular was very small. However, that was to be expected for the price, and the benefits vastly outweighed these minor issues.
