Charming B&B. Greeted by a lovely and bubbly host. Beautiful grounds with a wonderful view. Quaint, cozy rooms. Highly recommend

good place to explore the north +east coast and parts of south east ireland

I can’t think of a better place to stay on the outskirts of Derry than Groarty House. Margaret and family were welcoming and more than helpful. Breakfast was delicious and hot, and the room was perfect.

Great room and friendly owner. Everything was great and very quiet.

Few k’s out of town but with a car not an issue.

The room was dusty and the floor unclean. The owner of the facility was rude to me and refused to get off the phone to answer some concerns i had. We had not been advised that the B 'n B opens only at 5pm, and arrived in the afternoon to find the place locked and no-one around.

Purpose built guest house with hotel style facilities. Spacious room with walk-in shower in ensuite with useful shower gel and shampoo dispensers. Daily fresh towels if preferred. Tea and coffee making facilities. Ample wardrobe/shelves. Temperature control in room so you can stay comfortable at all times. Ample on site parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was able to ring ahead and arrive later than advertised cut off for check in. Had very comfortable three nights stay with good breakfast. Car useful although taxis inexpensive. Another guest told me only about £4 from city. Paid more than that for parking in city. Plenty of info in room about sightseeing and staff willing to help.

Lovely, welcoming stay for two nights for visiting Londonderry - best of both worlds, city in the day, countryside in the evening.
