The one member of staff who seemed to always be on duty. She was pleasant and friendly

Check in - advised to call one of the numbers on the door for ‘online’ check in. The first number’s mailbox was full so didn’t connect. The second number went to giffgaff voicemail. I had to walk round to the back garden to find someone. She told me where we could park as their car park was full. We came back to the door and another member of staff came, took our name and shut the door. She then came back with our key and took us round to the room in the stables. Although the bedding and towels were clean, that’s where it stops. Cobwebs in corners. Filthy heaters (glad we didn’t have to use them), the cups on the tea tray were dirty and one was badly chipped. The shower tray and hose had black mould on them although the shower head was clean. The bathroom mirror and basin plug were rusty. Breakfast was adequate although only having 1 member of staff on was poor as she was rushed off her feet. Another member of staff arrived at 9am when service had finished. We were glad to leave.

It’s a quaint property in a nice location. Bed was super comfy

Paid for breakfast and even got a message from the host asking what time I wanted it but when I turned up for breakfast no sign of anyone and despite contacting the host no response even 12 hours later. Bathroom was mouldy, no towel for showering except a hand towel. Generally tired and outside area was messy and unkempt. WiFi wasn’t working but this was a local area issue or so I was told.

The cleaning. Could be improved. Doors nog clean as the showercabin as wel.

Breastfast ok everything needed a good clean even the salt and pepper pot.

Everything was dirty.

Tiny bedroom for 2 adults. Hardly any room for 2 suitcases. Toilet didn't flush properly. Barhroom only 1 metre wide. . No tv lounge as advertised and tv in room as small as a computer screen. Beds were uncomfortable. Definitely only worth 2 stars.

Amazing area, never seen so many antique shops. Lovely walks. Tearoom at top of the mill with views over the river a must.
