Central Phoenix Hotel

I enjoyed it. It was great.

This property is extremely close to down town attractions. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the convention center and near a few eateries. The bus comes right in the front of this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and presented me with an early check in. The facility was clean and there was always someone present cleaning. My linen wasn’t dirty my fridge, microwave, air conditioner, television worked just fine! I’d give it perfect ratings if the ice machine was working. People complained about a temporary shortage of hot water. The weather was 90 degrees and hot water was not a priority to me for the few hours that it wasn’t working before they had this issue repaired. I would stay at this space again. The area is not safe at night to walk around in and it has less to do with the hotel and more to do with the area of downtown not being safe to walk around. The hotel is near the fire station and this provides some deference of crime. WiFi was strong. I’d stay again. : )

This is a cheap motel; pleasantly surprised how clean it was.

I stayed at an economical spot in Central Phoenix just 5 minutes from the Footprint Center, and it was perfect for a short stay. The place was clean, quiet, and had everything I needed for a night or two. It’s not fancy, but if you’re on a budget and want to be close to downtown attractions, it’s a great option. I’d definitely recommend it for solo travelers or anyone just looking for a simple, comfortable place to crash.

Located across a noisy night club and lots of homeless people visible in the neighborhood. Old interior, old furniture, unclean room, NO HOT WATER! Carpets need replacing and sheets.

Best place to stay on Van Buren in PHX AZ

A good low cost option in downtown Phoenix that is close to transit. But you pay for what you get. Rooms are falling apart, shower had no hot water. The area lost power for 20mins but the hotel was without power for 3 hours one day.

The building is old and needs updating. The rooms need to be updated with more outlets and gfci. The ac would be updated there was a musty smell coming from ours. Installation of shower racks and some kind of shelving in the shower would be helpful. I would probably upgrade the toilets. The young guy that checked us in was very nice and helpful. All in all My husband and I felt safe so that’s a huge plus for us.

The first day I arrived it was hard to get someone to help me but the second day that I stayed everyone was attentive from morning till night whenever I went to front desk. I guess the first night I was here was must have been an off day for them but overall I had an amazing experience and they accommodated everything that I requested. I give them a 9 out of 10
