The hotel was cheap but our room had multiple problems and not very clean. The Tv failed to switch on with the remote. The en suite was designed for a disabled guest but the low placement of the mirror meant it was difficult to shave without crouching down. The sink was far too small and the tap moved so that it had to be steadied with one hand and turned off with the other. My wife had to wear a jumper to sleep because the room was so cold.

Staff are ok . very run down although sheet and towels were clean but they seem to have marks on them . no hand wash or shower gel in the bath room which was very run down carpets were dirty . so we did not stay the night and left . and to top it off no heating even after i asked it to be switched ion

The bedside light flickered on and off and sparked several times. The sink leaked so there was a constant puddle on the bathroom floor. So there was sitting water and live electricity very close to each other, which is obviously a very dangerous combination. The bathroom extractor fan didn't work. There was no remote control for the TV. The walls were paper thin, so we could hear everything in the room next to us. This was a very over-priced place, which obviously relies on people just staying one night because of the nearby wedding venue. You'll be much better paying the taxi fare to somewhere further away. I contacted the hotel immediately after our stay about the safety concerns. No reply.

The filthiest hotel we have ever stayed in! Didn’t even want to shower.. shower itself dirty and both plug holes (including sink) full of hair. Carpet hasn’t been hoovered for quite some time. The remote was full of good and long blond hair (not mine). Walls are paper thin so you can hear people down the corridor snoring, if they’re watching tv in middle of night etc. Worst £85 ever spent. Save your money! There should be separate reviews for the hotel and pub, because I believe the food is good. We couldn’t bear to stay for breakfast as we just wanted to leave after not sleeping a wink all night.

Nice comfy stay. Lovely meal in the evening. Good portion sizes and very accommodating. Lady doing breakfast was so lovely.

Good little pub in a nice village. Rooms are basic but priced appropriately. Breakfast was lovely. The location was right for where we needed to be. Friendly staff.

Staff were lovely and very hospitable. However, there was a loud party on until 5am which made for a restless sleep. And in the morning there was not hot water to shower.

Dirty room, didn’t want to walk on carpet, underneath beds not been vacuumed in ages. Fortunately the bedding was lovely and clean, rest of the room was dusty, grimy and needed decorating. En-suite was dirty, all needed upgrading. Staff very friendly and helpful. Kitchen closed at 8pm just after arrival so had to go out to eat.

The staff were so friendly. The room was comfortable for the night. Not madsove but more thab enough. The breakfast was fabulous. Very happy especially for the price. In a nice area.
