Very handy for the wedding venue down the road, within walking distance. The staff at the Wagon and Horses were very friendly and helpful. Especially the lady cleaning the rooms.
The room left alot to be desired. the shower was broken, it kept stopping, going cold, and leaked out around the shower head. Strong smell of cigarette smoke all night. Paper thin walls where you can hear everything that goes on in the rooms around you. Bed was very uncomfortable. However, the staff were excellent, very friendly and the breakfast was great.
It is in a quiet village in a pretty area of Essex

Clean room and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not open when we stayed due to staff shortage. Shame! But overall, good room. Breakfast was good.
