Lovely room, good sized shower room, great having a small table with two chairs so we didn’t have to sit on the bed, it was more comfortable. Loved the rabbit lamps and having a small fan/heater in the room was a real bonus. Had a four poster bed which was very comfortable including the pillows and duvet and the bedding was quality material. The pub itself was lovely and cosy and plenty of tables in the beer garden to choose from. Added extras in the bar were board games to choose from, a pool table and dart board and very dog friendly. Staff were lovely and friendly, we’ll definitely be going back.

One small negative was the size of the towels in the bathroom as the bath towels were more like large hand towel size. Maybe we should’ve asked for bigger ones, they may have had some so we’re not moaning about that, just mentioning it.

Thin steak. No option boiled potatoes only chips. Blocked waste shower. Generally dusty

Great location in the Dorset countryside, very friendly staff and very welcoming to our dog that was travelling with us!

Good location, a little traffic noise but not a problem

A few slip-ups in the housekeeping area, eg the previous residents' towels were still on the bathroom rail
