Shower was hot and powerful

Breakfast was stale packaged croissants, variety cereals, yoghurts, fruit. Day 2, no croissants, day 3, no bowls for cereals. No staff available. Key to room missing until 2 night, no bulb in bedside lamb, standard lamp broken, heating provided solely by portable electric heater, bathroom freezing as no heating provided in there. Duvet too small to cover the two single beds put together and not winter weight, ( borrowed relatives duvets in order to keep warm and covered during night.)

Superb staff & service. Really lovely hotel close to our daughter’s school.

Staff were lovely and the evening meal was excellent. Unfortunately the room was freezing. It is a historical building so no double glazing or central heating as you'd expect.

Paid for a cooked breakfast in advance. Was only offered a cold breakfast on the day. I know they were changing to continental only but I had booked when cooked breakfast was still on the menu

Continental breakfast was cereal bars, cereal and plastic wrapped croissant. No other options available. Bedrooms were very cold.

Continental breakfast was supplied but no where to eat it in winter except in your room and no trays to take up and down stairs. Room had very good little fan heater …..

No place to eat breakfast. Room was dark and very cold on arrival. Staff were available but not very welcoming.

Clean and very comfortable

Only a continental breakfast, would have liked a full English.
