Perfect location, excellent value for money, lovely staff

Room was hot but it was a during a heatwave and we did have a fan so no more could have been done.

Really good location. Saturday Bar staff and landlord were exceptionally good, friendly and helpful. Top marks. Pub/Bar area was buzzing, great beer and cider, good food, lots of locals and visitors enjoying the space. Live music was really good and a bonus. Bed was so comfy, really was good. Room was spacious and clean. Cooked breakfast was really good.

No parking facilities but we parked in local car park for £5 for 24 hours. Morning staff (waitresses) for breakfast and the continental part of the breakfast let it down a bit. Coffee had run out, no bread for toasting, butter had run out, limited choice for cereal (bran flakes or muesli), no flavoured yogurts just plain, no drinking water available, yet when we asked all items were available, but it just got a bit tiresome asking all the time on both mornings when the waitress should keep these things topped up during the breakfast timings and we arrived half way through service so its not like we were late. The cooked breakfast was really good though, really good quality ingredients, cooked well, plentiful and hot. Just what you need.

Staff were warm and welcoming. Location great. Comfortable room with what you need. Not noisy.
