Great Location!

Breakfast/General food wasn't great.. Breakfast continental selection was poor & cooked breakfast options were oily/bland.

The Market House is perfectly located right next to the bus stops opposite the Abbey. The room was clean and comfortable with tea, coffee and biscuits waiting. It was quiet and I couldn't hear any noise from the pub below (although this may be different at the weekends). The food served in the pub was nice. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and also responded quickly to a question I emailed them before my stay. Just be aware that the private bathroom is not ensuite but about 5 steps away from the bedroom door. Which wasn't a problem for me.
