We stayed at Bowlish House for one night and honestly wished we could have stayed longer. The owner and host were so welcoming and accommodating from the moment we arrived. You can tell this isn't just a business to them – there is so much care and thought put into every aspect of the experience. The room was beautiful and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel really special. Things like the pillow spray, make-up towels and quality toiletries showed a real attention to detail that you don't often find. The coffee machine was a lovely addition too, much more luxurious than a standard hotel coffee maker! The bed deserves a special mention because it was genuinely one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. We both slept incredibly well and didn't want to get up in the morning! If you're looking for somewhere that feels luxurious without being pretentious, Bowlish House is exactly that. We left feeling relaxed, well looked after and already talking about when we can come back.

It was thoroughly charming and beautiful. Highly recommend Bowlish House.

It’s in desperate need of structural work. Floors are extremely uneven and sloped in our room. Whilst it’s part of its unique charm, it will need to be repaired or building will deteriorate over time.

Good location, although traffic a bit annoying in the morning. Breakfast delicious. Dog provided for very well! Very attractive house.

Messages sent to me by email and not text, so I didn't get them. Loft room VERY hot, helped a little by fan. Boards creaky, heard next door people creaking about.

Extremely warm welcome from Maryanne. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was continental and delicious. It was somewhere we would definitely stay again.
