Nith Riverside Cottages

Paolo the owner was very friendly and helpful advising where to visit in the area. The food was excellent. Room was very comfortable.

Our expectation was of a more countrified location.

A really lovely river side lodge. We stayed just one night but wish it could have been longer! Tastefully decorated, large rooms, great shower and a very warm welcome. Didn't sample the restaurant but the menu looked amazing. Close to the Crawick Multiverse which looked incredible.

One night stay in the charming riverside cottage, peaceful and scenic location

Very small cold room no hot water in sink and dingy

What a beautiful location! We stayed in the Minister's Pool Lodge with a gorgeous view of the river. The kitchen was fully equipped, so we cooked ourselves. The leather couches and electric fireplace made for a cozy evening. We especially enjoyed the small library of books in the room. The shower was great and the bed very comfortable. Paolo, our host, was lovely.

Breakfast was good, but I would have liked something other than filter coffee.

The place is beautiful, old world charm but inside bang up to date in the cottage a lot has been spent on insulation as it was -6c outside and 21c inside with the boiler on economy. Nicely furnished and right next to a river a real gem we will be back
