Kyoto Hotel SANOYA

Great location. Staff were great. Ones was super relaxing.

Had tradition Japanese breakfast,nothing like else where....chicken,potatoes,carrots and onion!!!!! Salad,other things could not tell what was what, tofu in a bowl and not a single thing my wife could eat, even off the buffet...more like an evening meal. Put us off for the rest of our stay. Rooms need updating a little, ours had wallpaper ripped off in places and a noisy old fridge.

Property was well situated for the ferry port, which is where we are heading. The staff were helpful and the property was clean

We had a room for my wife, myself and my 13 year-old daughter and this made it very very small. Being 6 foot six I also found the bathroom extremely small and low.

ein sehr schönes, ruhig gelegenes Ryokan in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Kyoto Station. Grosszügiges Familienzimmer mit ausreichend Platz und eigenem Bad. Ausgezeichnetes japanisches Essen zum Frühstück und Abendessen. Schönes Onsen zum entspannen nach einem anstrengenden Stadtbummel

Clean and friendly staff

Spacious superior family room that allowed us to keep our luggage opened through the trip and still plenty of space for our toddler to roam free without knocking into things. Easy navigation from Kyoto station (about 2 mins walk) with plenty of restaurants and konbini surrounding the property. Staff were great even having our luggage forwarding ready in our room. They also help organise our luggage to our next Tokyo accommodation. The washer and dryer were great, but only had 2 of each. We stayed during peak Sakura and the price was very reasonable even with the additional tax imposed. Overall, would definitely stay here again.

Wallpaper needs some updating as it was peeling in some areas, but otherwise fine. I would also say the doors to the room are basic lock and key, it would be great to have a little extra security with a chain lock or other.

Es el mejor hotel en el que nos hemos alojado nunca, limpio, habitación súper amplia, posibilidad de lavadora (coin laundry), onsen (incluso familiar para ir todos juntos en familia), staff super agradable y comidas increíbles. Os recomiendo coger desayuno y cena en el hotel, no os arrepentiréis porque son increíbles y una auténtica experiencia japonesa. Para las familias es especialmente recomendable, al lado de la estación de tren, onsen familiar y zona infantil de juegos en el lobby. Repetiríamos sin dudar!
