bedroom layout - doubled bed in main part of room and single bed in alcove - was great compromise between sharing room and having own space. Lovely breakfast. Furniture with character.

Great location, nice building, stylishly decorated.

The bed was creaky and not very comfortable, the room was tiny for the price. It was also up three flights of stairs, which can’t be helped but isn’t ideal after a long day. Shampoo was provided but no conditioner, again poor for the price. Can’t rate the staff because I didn’t see any of them at any point (we arrived late and didn’t take breakfast so not really their fault).

It took ages for the cold water to run through the sink tap.

Wonderful room, and very welcoming and accommodating staff!

The staff were really nice. Again, I'm sorry I scared you early in the morning while leaving. The hotel's position is central, just a 10 minutes walk from the Minster and the Shambles. Definitely a plus the garden with a tables and chairs and a backdoor entrance.

The house has been beautifully decorated with comfortable rooms and a very pleasant ambience. The staff are exceptionally helpful, not only helping by phone when checking in but also having staff on site for breakfast, which was very well organised and enjoyable. The proprietor did not hesitate to visit when needed to solve a minor problem. Free parking was also available at the rear of the property.
