Couldn’t be a more stunning location. On the tip of the island (Playa Centro side), a few meters round the corner from Plata Norte. Playa Norte has very limited beach space whereas this hotel is on a huge expanse of sand leading out to the same pristine sea. We spent every day in the beach club. It’s incredible with amazing service. You can also book a Bali bed / cabana if you like (email guest experience or book when you get there). We had the à la carte breakfast on the beach every day which was also amazing. Lots of choice and beautiful views. We were breakfast only, perfectly ok as there are so many amazing places to eat on the island. The beach is full of locals. It’s wonderful. Hotel also had a nice pool though we didn’t use it. Rooms: big, cold, comfy. We upgraded to a hot tub room. Wouldn’t recommend as the city view rooms are VERY NOISY. Better off a smaller room on the inside of the hotel over the pool as that also had sunset views and was much quieter. Service (especially once you got to know the staff) was excellent. Understandably, the staff had favourites (regulars) and served them faster. Tip big, the staff deserve it, they are incredible. Big shout out to San, Jose and Alejandro. They also arranged a bottle of fizz and rose petals in our room

As with most hotels, lots of noisy tourists at the hotel (we were on honeymoon). This hotel draws mainly older American couples who have stayed here many times. Before you get to know the staff, it can be difficult to get some aspects of normal 5 star service. For example, on the first day we arrived late and wanted to take a glass of wine up to our room but were told we would have to call room service which was took over 30 minutes. Once we knew the staff, they couldn’t do enough for us, so this isn’t a criticism of them, more the system of the hotel. On another night, we bought a bottle of wine and they told us we could take it upstairs. There are no straws on the beach! Bring your own! In terms of guest experience, again it’s a small thing but I emailed ahead about touches for our honeymoon eg what champagnes did they have and could I pay to have one in our room. They didn’t respond and didn’t tell us about the beach Bali huts etc. it’s definitely a need to know kind of hotel!

We have stayed at PA many times over the past few years and it never disappoints! We think the beach at PA is the best spot on the island but what really keeps us coming back is the staff! Jose welcomes us like family when we arrive and of course, PA has THE BEST beach servers in Dani, Jorge and Santiago. Shout out as well to Sammy and Raul at the pool, Oscar, Edwin and Greta at the beach club restaurant, Wendy at Sabor and Sherlyn at Satay. We can't wait for our next visit!

Eduardo at the pool bar/sabor bar and Jorge at the beach were great! Good beverages and attentive. Would come back!

Privilege Aluxes Isla is the nicest, all adults resort on north beach. They have the best beach in the area. Zero seaweed. We rented a Bali bed cabana for our entire stay & it was totally worth it. The beach they sit on is not crowded unlike all of the others. P.A. has the best views. Service here is exceptional. Staff is extremely friendly. We chose to book a room with breakfast but explored Hidalgo Street for dinner & everywhere we tired was great. We recommend having the hotel book you a golf cart for a day of exploring.

The beach and pool were great! The staff was very nice.

The satay restaurant was no so good, but the food in other restaurants was good!

Jorge at the beach was a terrific server. Attentative and friendly each day.

We love it here so much! I can’t say enough amazing things! Dani is absolutely incredible and our personal favorite employee here! Thank you for everything and we will be back again next year!!
