Ideally located for the start of the South Downs Way and within walking distance from the train station. Self check in was made easy via instructions from the host.

Staying at 31 Queens Rd was a fantastic experience. Richard was a friendly and knowledgeable host. My breakfast tray every morning was above and beyond in terms of quality and quantity. My room was clean, cozy, comfortable; the entire property was safe and well lit. On site parking was beyond convenient. Highly recommend!!

The host was very welcoming & informtive about our stay. He also shared where to go & visiting of interresting places etc.

There was nothing not to like at all.

Although a 15 minute walk from the city centre Queens Road compensated by having very little external noise - wood pigeons exempted - and was a very well kept property. Richard was very helpful when I arrived and made me welcome. My room was well furnished with a good supply of towels for the ensure, a kettle, TV and ironing board - I only used the kettle. It took me a while to become acquainted with the pressure and water temperature of the shower but I got the hang of it. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. I did a lot of walking over the weekend and the breakfast set me up very well for the rest of the day.

A few more tea bags available in the room would have been nice (I drink a lot of tea).

Excellent continental style breakfast with a very wide variety of products (porridge oats, cereal, croissants, 3 types of fruit, cheese, muesli bar, pastry, preserves plus tea & coffee). Comfortable room and own entrance and parking. Easy walk to the town centre.

Electric shower was a rather weak and difficult to control the temperature.
