We could not contact the venue and had to book another venue

Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good with plenty of food and choices. The host was very welcoming.

The room was small and cramped to move around with two people and an overnight bag and backpack. This was very noticeable when the breakfast tray arrived in the morning as it was near impossible to move.

Richard is such a wonderful host. Gives a lot of good advices for Winchester. Location is great with approximate a 15 minute walk to the cathedral. There is no noise at all so we slept with an open window. Highlight has been the breakfast that Richard let on a tray and a table outside of the room at the agreed time. There was orange juice, coffee, tea, toast, croissant, butter, cheese, cornflakes, fruits, joghurt, fruitbars, etc. We had no idea that it will be possible to put so much on that tray. We will never forget this.

The only item that we struggled a bit with has been the temperature of the shower. It will take around 30 seconds until the temperature adjusts to the setting.

The selection was excellent. Exceeded our expectations by a long way.

The room is a little small but very adequate.

Only stayed one night but next time I am in Winchester I will definitely stay at 31 Queens Road again. I don't think I have ever slept better and I am absolutely sure that I have never had such a superb breakfast at any other time in my life. The premesis is located close to the delightful Winchester CBD and it's amazing cathedral. Richard is a gracious host with excellent information regarding local eateries and facilities.
