Bankes Arms Hotel

We were very happy with our stay at The Bankers Arms. The staff were very friendly. We also enjoyed meeting new people.

Very cosy and upscale

Characterful Inn with friendly staff in the heart of the village. Fabulous food. Location is a bonus but as a result also a lot of traffic noise.

Wonderful character hotel with central location and the really welcoming staff. Breakfast was just wonderful. Sadly the only downside was that we didn’t sleep as located right on the main through road, church clock chimes hourly, noisy pelican crossing right outside the windows and early deliveries - but none of this can be helped.

Stayed with my friend for a girly night away. Perfect spot for an overnight break. Close to both Swanage and Studland and also Wareham. The Castle is worth a visit and at the same he right time of year, step on the steam train. Very hospitable staff, great twin room overlooking the square.

Had a wonderful stay. The staff were friendly. Food was really nice, we stayed overnight, the room was clean and perfect. Breakfast the next morning was really nice. Highly recommend. Perfect location in the beautiful village of Corfe. A big convenience store across the road too which is handy.

Warm welcome from staff. Very cosy dining in front of a log fire and delicious food. Very attentive and extremely pleasant staff. Delightful stay would definitely return. Beautiful location in walking distance to Corfe Castle.

The staff were brilliant

To celebrate a friend’s significant birthday, we were lucky to be invited to go to The Bankes Arms for lunch to celebrate. Whilst we’ve had a drink here before, we’d never eaten here, so looked forward to it. It did not disappoint. We all enjoyed our starters and mains. My pork belly mains with Dauphinois Potatoes was to die for. I ate every scrap. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, and the staff were lovely. Hoping to go back soon and happy to recommend.
