The hotel was adequate but no more, 1 1/2 or 2 stars at most. Great view out the window of the loud street and street cars. Very friendly front desk staff, very stoic breakfast staff. Also the cover photo is very misleading, the hotel is more like a low priced motel in quality and comfort
Wouldn't recommend this hotel in the summer, when the weather is hot.

Great location, great price. The promised wi-fi did not work on the fifth floor. They gave us a new room with excellent wi-fi connection the next night though. Breakfast was OK, loved the bottomless coffee :)

Family of 4 on vacation. Staff was very pleasant. The hotel was ideally situated for site seeing and parking was available within a block. Breakfast was very nice.
We liked the hotel all right, but were not aware there would be no AC, and it had been a very hot few days. The room was stuffy and too hot for comfort. Opening the window helped little due to the heat outside, and brought in the kitchen fumes. The room was very spacious and well laid-out, but the bed was old, soft and lumpy and we both got up with back and neck pains after a bad night's sleep. Otherwise, the room and hotel were very clean, and very well located. The parking provision was also convenient and close-by.
No air conditioning on days in high eighties and low nineties. Small, narrow elevator. Room did have kichenette. Not much lighting in space, making it hard to see. I left, checking into a chain hotel with A/C, good lighting, and paid less per diem. Would not suggest for older clientele at all.
Perfect location for the sights of central Leipzig, the good restaurants and cafes and the central railway station. All of the history and architecture are compelling and the Stasi museum fascinating, chilling, very well presented and a testament to how the German people have freed themselves from their past.
Was given a room on the 2nd floor that had no wifi service. Asked front desk about the issue several times and was given different answers each time. Eventually had to threaten to cancel the remainder of my stay if the wifi was not working and I was given a new room.
