"Not what we expected from the description."

The home has an incredible collection of Art Work and Sophie took the time to show us around what had been her family home.

Although attempting to honour the historic past of this home, there are certain updates which need to take place in order to make it a more comfortable place to stay. In our opinion, the carpets, window dressings and bathroom all needed replacing in keeping with the feel of the house. The smell of ā€˜oldā€™ in our room was overbearing. The front entrance was very untidy and fortunately my husband pointed out the 3 dogs laying on the floors in the entrance of reception, which, I may well have tripped over had he not pointed out. I Unfortunately we would not recommend.

A lovely comfortable and relaxing stay in a perfect location directly across from the pristine beach. Sophie is the perfect host. Always lovely to return to. Totally reliable accomodation.

It was just what my soul needed A welcoming place warm and friendly Their furbabies ( dogs and horses) were gentle and loving I could of taken them all home with me ...

Delicious breakfast and great variety/choice. Super helpful and friendly staff. Loved the grounds/gardens and enjoyed our morning stroll. Will be back for sure. Thanks for a great stay!
