The beautiful house and fantastic surroundings! A hidden gem near the beach on a enormous property! So much to explore, definitely visit Nawrantapu. They have so many tips in the surrounding!

"Eclectic historic accommodation near the beach"

Loved our stay here so much. Fabulous quirky eclectic decor and so much history. Owners were very welcoming and helpful....told us where we could see the penguins. We were lucky enough to see 14 toddle up the beach in the area recommended. Lovely continental breakfast. We had to leave early on checkout so the owner very kindly arranged breakfast for us to put in room fridge the night before. Definitely right up there for memorable stays.

The location on the beach is impressive. The grounds are lovely. The drive up is impressive. The 3 resident dogs are gorgeous and placid.

It could be a gem, and Sophie obviously tries hard going from kitchen to reception to groundskeeper herself, but it needs so much investment in the building.

Lovely, private location overlooking the property's dam and stunning Hawley Beach. On arrival we were welcomed by our hostess Sophie and her 3 magnificent and friendly German Shepherds. Sophie is a rare gem, friendly, helpful, generous and quietly very accomplished. She's also the Nigella of Tasmania, creating fine dining offerings beautifully presented for dinner. The home and stables are sensitively decorated according to the home's period. We loved our 3 days with Sophie, the German Shepherds and Horses. We'll definitely return in the near future !
