A Lovely hotel with wonderful staff. We ate at the restaurant for 2 nights and the food was excellent. Great location for the Quantocks if you like walking.

Very clean, comfortable and well presented. Really friendly and efficient staff. Service was excellent. Absolutely superb evening meal with great choice of menu. Breakfast was very good too. We stayed in the Italian Room which was spacious and comfortable and although at the front of the building, we were not bothered by the traffic. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at the Castle of Comfort, a lovely hotel that lives up to its name. The service was excellent and we were well looked after by Emily. Special mention to the breakfast which was one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had. It nice to see a hotel serving butter and jams in proper dishes rather than using those ridiculous little plastic pots. We would definitely return.

The staff cannot help you enough, they are so kind and friendly. They have paid attention to all the little details and it makes the stay so much more special.

This was our first stay but it won't be our last. Staff are so efficient and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Food is first class and a three course meal for £30 is real value and the quality outstanding. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in this area don't hesitate - book now!!

Wonderful family run Hotel, lovely warm welcome, we had a great two night stay, evening meal was superb, couldn’t fault it and great value for money too. On both days we were offered homemade cake, which sat and ate in their lovely tea garden. The outdoor pool was a bonus (it was very refreshing after walking & cycling in the Quantock Hills) They even had bike storage !!!!!! Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights as we were visiting family nearby. We were so impressed with the hotel from the lovely staff, comfortable bed, spacious room/bathroom and great breakfasts. However the free cake/tea on arrival and sherry every evening was such a treat. Thank you!

We loved our stay on route to Cornwall. Staff couldn’t have been any friendlier. Our son loved the pool. Beautiful breakfast. Highly recommended.

This hotel has a traditional feel with great touches. There isn’t just a kettle and a few instant coffees in the room. You are treated to a ‘service a chambre’ box complete with a large array of different teas, coffee for the cafetière, milk and cream as well as biscuits. There is even a decanter with Sherry and glasses for a night cap. In addition to this there is complimentary tea, coffee and cakes during your stay. When we arrived we sat outside with a large pot of tea and a tea cake. The service is impeccable. The bed was comfy as were the pillows. We haven’t had breakfast yet but I’m sure it will be an equally enjoyable experience.
