Castle of Comfort Hotel & Restaurant

Lovely location. Although in a main road it didn’t really affect our stay at all. Friendly service from start to finish. Complimentary coffee / tea and cakes on arrival, complimentary Sherry in the room. Comfortable rooms. We booked dinner in the hotel and the food was outstanding. My wife is a vegan as was more than well catered for. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will definitely use again if in the area.

Pretty and comfortable hotel in the countryside. Lovely outdoor pool and gardens. Great meals and friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely room for our first few nights, but we had to move after two nights, as Expedia know there is availability, but not in the same room our second room which luckily was only two of our six nights, the traffic noise disturbed sleep and comfort, however Carol and her staff are very friendly and cannot do enough for you, excellent food and amenities. Definitely recommend, however try and get a room at the back of the property.

Could not recommend the hotel highly enough. Had a great stay nothing was too much trouble & really enjoyed the pool & garden. Refreshments on arrival was very welcome & breakfast was excellent. 10/10 stay! Thank you for having us!

Enjoyed the complimentary tea and cake on arrival. If I wanred to I could jave had a complimentary glass of sherry jn my room. Meals were very tasty and ingredients soidced locally.

Amazing stay! Very friendly welcome complimentary coffee and cake, wonderful breakfast. Beautiful gardens and warm swimming pool. Went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Will be back!

We had a lovely stay. The only downside was the traffic noise as we were at the front. Friendly, happy staff. We would return.

This was our 2nd visit and nothings changed. Excellent food, very friendly and helpful staff. Ideal position for walkers in Quantock hills and not far to Exmoor. The hotel is on the A39 so a little traffic noise not a problem for us.

Such lovely staff and we adored the outdoor pool set in the gardens. White table linen at every meal made it extra special.
