The Westin Jersey City Newport

I stayed in the King Room with the corner view. Amazing bathroom with huge bathtub, lovely views, big bed felt very very clean. Staff was quick and professional. Place was very quiet, Location was near this cute mall. Felt very much as home. Felt very fancy.

Bathroom hardware was kind of falling apart, not all windows could be opened. AC unit was very noisy. Breakfast selection was pretty limited. Bed was too soft? No slippers or bathrobe but that's not a big deal.

I love this hotel! I have stayed here a few times and will continue to come back. Justine was great at check-in, very helpful. Jen who manages food and beverage is a DOLL and Mauricio was excellent in service. The views are amazing and the location is perfect. Will definitely be back.

The Westin is a good Hotel in Jersey City. Its in an excellent location with Great Views of Manhattan. It’s also close to a mall and numerous restaurants, Shoprite, and Path Train to NYC. We stayed there 4 days in February 2025. My only issue was the cold water temperature of the indoor pool. The water was very cold. The pool also fills with ice cold water if your unfortunate to experience the pool filling while swimming. I put in requests every day of our 4 day stay to increase the water temperature. The water was still the same cold temperature every day. They did raise the hot tub temperature every day but not the pool temperature. I suggest bringing a winter wetsuit for a swim in the cold pool!

We stayed for two nights, and the hotel was a great choice. There’s a paid parking lot right next to the hotel, which was very convenient. If you're on a budget, this is a perfect spot for exploring New York. The subway station is just a few minutes' walk, making it easy to get to the city. Plus, the hotel is very close to the river, and we loved taking walks along the waterfront, enjoying the beautiful views of Manhattan across the river. It was a relaxing and scenic experience! One thing to note is that breakfast was provided as a Grab-to-Go voucher, and if the amount exceeds the voucher value, you need to cover the difference yourself

Stayed at the Westin Newport in Jersey City, NJ and it was a wonderful stay, great service, clean and comfy room, and will definitely stay there again if in the area!
