Apex Waterloo Place Hotel

The Apex on Waterloo is a fantastic location and the staff are Great! Excellent Bar and friendly. The group of ladies at the front desk helped us get started on or 3 day adventure in Edinburgh. We had trouble with the uber picking us up and the woman at the front desk immediately came to our aid and had a taxi dispatched with in minutes so we could go pick up our lost luggage at the airport before they closed the baggage counter.

We stayed here during our time in Edinburgh. It was located perfectly on the line between the old and new Edinburgh. Several things were in close proximity to walking (Edinburgh Castle, Parliment, pubs, shopping!) that made it a really great place to stay. The staff we interacted with were efficient and professional. We would stay again if we returned.

Friendly staff always happy to help , clean modern rooms .

Only one lift working sometimes having to wait a good while .

One of the elevators wasn’t working. Took forever to come due to the whole hotel relying on one elevator
