Candlewood Suites - Bluffton-Hilton Head by IHG

It’s a tough time of the year. It’s been hot and very humid and when we entered our room, it had a musty smell. Not overwhelming, but still there. Otherwise we’d like the staff, they’re helpfulness and the way the room was appointed.

I feel that cleaning only on the 7 day of your stay is horrible and having to retrieve our own towels is sorry for the hotel. Too much money is paid not to have rooms cleaned daily or even get clean towels

The hotel needs to be updated. They only gave us 3 towels for a 4 person reservation. Hotel staff was not friendly or attentive.

I like that room was clean but i didn't like that crab in the pool and alligator in the parking area

The rooms were dark and in need of updating. Broken hairdryer in bathroom. Some of the hooks were broken on the curtains. Everything just seemed worn. Front desk staff was very nice. Air conditioning was fine. Even though we didn’t use the kitchen everything seemed clean.

You got very little cell service in room

Everything is the room seemed damp, especially carpet. Made clothes in suitcase damp. No housekeeping for both days of stay.
