Staybridge Suites Oklahoma City by IHG

We sent our adult daughter, with 2 of her sibling and their best friends to OKC to attend a youth con. Their mother and I agreed we would send them, if we could stay in the suite our family had stayed in before (the same one that the a/c did not work and we were given bonus points for staying) that way Maddy keep keep an eye on them. We decided to give them a second chance. Received confirmation with the guarantee we would have a suite on the days we would be there. As the group checked they were told they no longer had suites available. Though it was showing on Hotel.com there was suites still being booked. They did accommodate them with 2 rooms next to each other, after my daughter insisted, she was the one responsible for group. Caroline, treated her as a child, and was not pleasant to deal with at all. She said it was not the fault of the hotel, but Hotel.com. Yet when I called Hotels.com I was informed, after being hung up on twice, that it was not guaranteed and it was the hotel’s problem. The room the boy had they had to take lukewarm baths, because their shower had hardly any hot water. Upon checkout my daughter once again had to deal with Caroline, who continued to belittle her(she is 30 yrs. old and only 5”1’) then Caroline began to tell her about her conversation with me. She told my daughter(when she thought I was only mother to the boys)that I was screaming and yelling at her! Not very professional

Stayed with our 2 kids, so having a separate room was nice.

Seemed weird to pay for parking. It is a Suites hotel but had no silverware, cups, plates, etc. etc. They didn't clean the room the entire time we were there, is Covid a viable excuse for no service anymore? The breakfast bar was great and at least no sack breakfast. I think overall good value for the money.

The property needs an update and the pocket bathroom doors were impossible to open and close. That being said, great to have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite for a family of 5. Plus my son loved the basketball court.

The room is huge and comfortable. We fell asleep right away. The AC unit is very noisy and that was hard to sleep through. Everything else was fantastic.

Hotel needs upgrades and was not as clean. Bed was uncomfortable and the water took 5 minutes to get hot for a shower. There was no phone in the room to call the front desk. Service was great though and the suite was spacious.

Nice hotel, but the neighborhood was terrible. Someone stole our bikes off the back of our trailer. 😡

Very pleased with our stay here! Perfect option for a larger family or group. Beds and shower were great. Only problem was the screaming air conditioning!

We came for the pool but it was being remodeled. Please list that online when something is not working. No breakfast because of covid. Other than that beautiful hotel and I plan to stay there again.

It was ok, air conditioner struggled to cool the room, but finally made it as the evening progressed. The pool wasn't working and the grab and go breakfast just isn't the same. You can tell this is a little older property that just needs a little tlc. Staff was friendly and helpful though. Overall it hasn't put me off of Staybridge Suites, which we like very much, it just wasn't my greatest stay with them.
