"Never happened due to a water leak."

On the day of arrival I received a txt stating due to a water leak my room was unavailable and my reservation was cancelled. No offer of an alternative reservation. No apology. No compensation. But Booking.con offered an alternative and to pay for a reasonable higher cost.
