"Great hotel with an incredible history"

Very nice hotel with an incredible history. Service was excellent, everyone was helpful and extremely friendly. The other hotels in the area are budget level or similar so if you want something at a higher level this is it. Would certainly stay again

The lobbies are gorgeous! It’s located downtown and close to shopping, restaurants (2 restaurants on the property) and a variety of venues. From our room we could see several gorgeous murals - there are many in the area. The staff were also very good. Our room was very clean and comfortable.

The furniture in our room was worn and in need of being replaced or painted with the exception of the headboards which had a historic look. Parking was tight. We lucked out and got the last spot in the parking lot on the first day, and one of a few open spots on the following day.

Staff were very nice. Check-in was easy and response to need for additional blanket and extra towels was handled swiftly. Housekeeper made a valiant attempt to fix a maintenance problem for us since no one else was available.

Bathroom sink was not draining properly and there were 3 of us who would need to get ready in the morning.
