Timber Cove Resort

It has auto switches in bathroom, so when you get up to go at night the light blinds you awake. No instructions at phone as to what to dial for front desk. Counter are in bathroom is small. Sliding door to patio did not lock. Could not find switch to ceiling light, or it was out if controlled by main switch. No elevators to my room. I think it was over-priced. On the positive side, attractive room and public area. Nice views.

If you are looking for a place to relax and recharge this is it.

I’ve been coming to Timber Cove for years. It’s my favorite escape. I usually stay in an ocean view room, but this time I tried the Timber Cove Room facing the courtyard. As other reviewers already mentioned, it was noisier than expected, with music and voices from the Great Room carrying into the night. The room was also smaller, which was okay, but the skylight was defect and couldn’t close, making it hard to sleep once the morning light came in. Considering the room rate and being a returning guest, I would have appreciated a small gesture since the issue couldn’t be fixed during my stay. The bed however, was incredibly comfortable, as always. Would I book this room again? Maybe, if traveling solo on a budget. But for the full, peaceful Timber Cove experience, I’d definitely stick with an ocean view room.

One of a kind property … located in such a stunning location, blending perfectly with the beautiful California coast. Room are well designed, perfect to enjoy the ocean and watch unbelievable sunsets!!

Nothing really

My husband and I spent two perfect days, celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary over the Fourth of July. The bed was a dream! The ocean view unsurpassed! Weather was PERFECT (although windy, so I appreciated the hats, wraps, and sweatshirts available for purchase in the gift store). The staff and service were excellent, and the food, DIVINE. We loved all the special features (the fire pit, the string lights, the board games & reading material, the record player, the gigantic great room in the lodge with the fireplace. I could go on and on. My only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer!

Had a relaxing first stay at Timber Cove. We had a very chill stay and mostly stayed on the property, enjoying the short hike around the premise a few times.

The Accommodations, courtesy, and politeness of staff made our anniversary/birthday celebration an unforgettable experience!

Overall, had a great experience! However, just note that the rooms located above the Outside Game area can be quite noisy at all hours.

Fantastic, cool hotel with excellent service and wonderful views. We loved everything about our short stay and look forward to returning.
