Hotel Harbour View

The hotel sits on top if another one that is not as nice. Excellent location and rooftop cafem Rooms are beautifully designed and meticulously maintained. When I had some health issues, the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Location was great ! Although was quite noisy in the room.probably because of our room being near reception.

The reception is on the same floor as the rooms and can be a bit noisy.

As well as the outstanding facility and location we enjoyed the daily change-up of Indian breakfast foods we ate on the rooftop overlooking the sea. Likewise the sundowners there and the food served off the menu.

Brilliant location within walking distance to everything. It’s a beautifully renovated property with a comfortable bed and pretty much all you need (except a hairdryer). Staff were friendly, but a little slow at times. The Bayview Cafe on 4th floor had a cracking view of the bay, hence it’s name, but they insisted on playing loud doof-doof music in the evening, which really spoilt the sophisticated atmosphere. All in all, an excellent stay which I highly recommend to anyone (be sure to book a Seaview room)

We enjoyed our four night stay at this hotel, service was good and staff friendly and helpful .The rooftop restaurant was lovely and the view of the Harbour and the India Gate was great . The buffet breakfast , although not a big selection was adequate and the food was good and it did change a little each morning . The dishes we had for dinner at the restaurant we’re also delicious . We found the location to be central , close to sites and eating options , it is just a few minutes walk to the India Gate and the Mumbai Palace Hotel ,and 15 minutes from the Museum .

The front of hotel is shabby and confusing as it’s 2 hotels one on top of the other. Wasn’t impressed at first at but then when you go upstairs for breakfast or a drink at the bar, the old wooden stairs wrap around a lovely old caged lift. Bathe bar and breakfast area are small but the views are amazing

A very pleasant surprise in a great location in Mumbai

We traveled as a couple and both agreed the Hotel was a surprise once inside as you have to pass another hotel to arrive at Harbour View. We had a balcony room which I would recommend as this allows fresh air and a feeling of more space. Bed is very comfortable and whilst there is external noise when trying to sleep, we found it okay as the aircon drowned out most of the noise.

Location is good. We exchanged euros here and were given money that was colored on the back (which is real, but not accepted and has to be taken to a bank). So look out for that. Koyla restaurant is close by and was a great place to eat. Most hotel images online look better than in real life. This was no exception. Also the hotel name is different on the outside (Hotel Strand is on the building)
