AUOur first night at this hotel was very bad. It was busy and we were put in the farthest room possible on top floor with no stairs! We had to climb at least 6 flights of stairs and a very long walk with all our baggage. We are in our 70’s. What was very good was that the next morning the manager moved us to very good rooms on the ground floor for the next 2 nights and carried down all our luggage. A very kind gesture that we appreciated greatly.
Not knowing that there are many stairs in this hotel and no lifts. Although it is only two stories high it is very old and many passages to navigate.

The room was nothing like pictures shown small not very clean. Paid extra for river view but door lock was broken balcony was filthy full of cigarette ends. Paid extra for breakfast not great was shown buffet style cooked breakfast but was not the case. Very noisy room adjoining door you could hear everything from room next door. Floor boards creaked badly. Only 1 small bedside table not 1 of the best hotels stayed in.
USLocation was good for what i needed
Room and hotel were dirty. There was literally a dirty food crusted spoon on the table behind the TV. Bed and pillows were terrible and faucet hardly worked
