Location was perfect for me.

When I had a shower in the morning there were a lot of silver fish running around under the sink, I caught one in a tissue and took it to the front desk when I left but nobody was there so I threw it in the garbage.

"I would not recommend this hotel."

2.0

I stayed here with my young daughter for a sports competition, expecting a quiet night’s rest before an important event. That expectation was not met. From the moment we arrived, the elevators and hallways smelled stale and strongly of cigarette smoke, which was off-putting while traveling with a child. In the middle of the night, the fire alarm went off at full volume, jolting us awake and forcing us to evacuate outside until the fire department arrived. The alarms were so "head splitting" that my daughter was crying and could not hear me when I tried to console her in the dark. After this incident, we were unable to sleep. We remained on edge, anxious the alarm would sound again, which completely defeated the purpose of staying overnight before a competition. I explicitly asked the front desk not to charge my credit card until I could speak directly with a manager about this experience. Despite that request, my card was charged anyway for hundreds of dollars, and I received only a generic apology with no effort to resolve the situation. When I finally spoke with Abdel, the manager, over a week later, the discussion was confrontational and dismissive, resembling a court battle rather than a conversation about guest concerns. He focused on defending the alarm system and prioritizing corporate policy and profit over guest experience. Management acknowledged that the alarm was caused by partying guests (smoking?), yet no accountability was taken and no discount was offered for families with young children affected by the disruption. The only ‘compensation’ offered required me to SPEND MORE MONEY: a free breakfast contingent on a future stay, a trivial number of loyalty points, or a 20% discount to pay again and return. No refund was issued for the severely disrupted night, and management declined to provide any meaningful accommodation for a future stay. This response made it clear that guest well-being (particularly for families) was not a priority. The focus was entirely on protecting the hotel chain’s revenue rather than taking responsibility for a deeply unsettling experience. Save your hard-earned money and stay elsewhere. For sporting events, the Holiday Inn or one of the many other hotels in the area would be a far better choice, where your sleep and overall experience are valued.

Location

The smell of perfume in hallways and elevator was overpowering. Could taste it. Someone with allergies to scents and perfumes wouldn’t do well here.
